Discover Scuba Diving

The DSD is designed for people who hasnt tried the incredible experience of being underwater. The instructor will share with you what the underwater world offers, he will also discuss the effects of scuba on our bodies and some safety recommendations, he will teach you to wear and use the dive gear, and after that you will get into the shallow water to take your first breath underwater!!!

Later you will slowly ease into deeper water to see all the colorful coral and marine life in the Tayrona National Park.

Schedule: Day 1: Video 20min, Theory class: 20 min, Practical skills: 20min Shore diving at 6mts depth and a boat dive at 12mts depth. 5 hours in total. more info en PADI

To take the DSD you must be at least 10 years old,  swim and have good health, see the medical questionaire.

Open Water Course

The open water course gives you the certification to dive in the same conditions in every place in the world at 18 mts depth, you also can rent tanks and dive gear and dive with another certified diver, you can take speciality courses or go pro with PADI. Check this useful brochure

To take this course you only need your enthusiasm good health, three days, swimsuit and suncream, we take care of the rest.

BE CAREFUL.. check the certification of the instructor and the Dive Center before you take any dive course. Be proactive and don´t get dissapointed later.

This is our regular schedule, but we can change it according to your needs.

Schedule

Day 1: Video 3.5h, Confined session: 2-4 hours

Day 2: Two open waterdives at 12 mts depth. 5hours

Day 3: Two open water dives at 18 mts depth. 5 hours Class, Exam & certification.  3 hours.

Advanced Open Water Course

 

If you are looking for more fun, this is the choice, you will experience 5 different open water dives each one introducing you to a new aspect of diving, deep and navigation are mandatory and you can choose other 3 experiences, one of the favorites is night dive.

Schedule

Day 1: 2 dives. 5 hours  and 1 night dive 1.5 hours

Day 2: 2 dives 5hours.

Class & Certification 1 hour.

Curso Emergency First Response

This course is a combination of the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid course. It teaches participants how to provide care with confidence in the most efficient way to help someone before professional medical help arrives on the scene.

If you are thinking about taking the rescue diver course you need medical training before, so this course is the perfect choice to learn the skills to handle and emergency situation, however the course is available to everybody not only divers.

Schedule: the course takes 1 day, includes watching a video, reading a manual, theory class and a practical session.

Rescue Diver Course

The Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver`s knowledge. This course exposes you to problems and role-playing scenarios for most dive accidents that you may one day have to deal with.

Rescue training will prepare you to respond properly to diving emergency and stress situations could lead in an emergency. This course gives you the confidence to help yourself and other divers.

The course includes a knowledge development part, a confined water training and a open water training to experience different scenarios such as panicked diver, unconscious diver or lost diver.

Scheduled:

Day 1: Watching a video and reading a manual, Independent study.

Day 2: Confined water training 5 hours

Day 3: Open water training, 5 hours.

Dive Master Course

Dive master is the first level of the PADI Professional career, you need to be a rescue diver to take this step and is a pre-requisite to became a PADI Instructor.

You will learn dive leadership skills through classroom and independent study sessions, complete water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water, training exercises to test organizational, problem solving abilities. You will also assist the PADI Instructors with in discover scuba diving courses, open water, advanced, rescue and EFR courses.

In addition you receive training in logging in/out of divers, tank filling, equipment maintenance, surface supervision and general diver organization and assistance, radio operations, and boat operations. The course includes at least 40 dives, training materials, dive gear and fees.

Dive masters can work at local dive centers, on live-aboard dive boats, yachts and at exotic resort locations, as a Dive Master you can assist PADI Instructors with students, lead PADI Scuba Divers on guided dive tours and teach some PADI courses.

Schedule:

6-8 weeks, full time.

Oxygen Provider DAN

Providing emergency oxygen is a skill recommended for every diver and a must for every professional in the diving industry. Learning to use oxygen is easy, but you need proper instruction and practice with the equipment under the direction of a qualified instructor The course covers delivery techniques, Oxygen handling and Equipment.

Schedule:

Half Day.
