What to do

What  else you can do  in Taganga, besides diving? A lot..

Going to Tayrona Park.

You can go there by bus or by boat:  Sleep in hammocks, rent a tent or sleep in one of the comfy but expensive ecohabs in Cañaveral or Arrecifes.

Lost city Trek.

This trek is a must for people who likes nature and walking. There are many companies arranging this trip such as Magic Tours, Expotur or Sierra Tours.

Volunteering

Mariposas Amarillas is a small Colombian grassroots organization committed to supporting disadvantaged children and families around Santa Marta, Colombia. They provide services (education, psychological assistance, recreation), supplies (food, clothing, items for school and home), and information on nutrition, education, and childcare to families in Santa Marta’s poorest neighbourhoods.

And we are more than happy to give something back to the volunteers for their great job, so ask your discount when you come to dive with us.

Where to Eat

On the beach you will find many restaurants, most offering fried fish, we like to go to Cactus or shark.

One of the best places to eat is where Patrick Philip House is open Tuesday through Saturday. You can not go without tasting the food Taganga this Dutch chef.

You can also visit Pachamama, or try the crepes Blog where our neighbors: La Ballena Azul.

But without doubt the best of Taganga are their juices of all flavors and colors. You can try different one each day
